About Kundasang
Kundasang is located about 106km away from Kota Kinabalu, it take about 3 hours time due to the uphill and single lane, foggy 😶🌫️ and traffic slow down by heavy vehicles 🚛 . Here doesn’t have highway 🛣️ like city which can drive 120 km/hr and reach Kundasang within an hour 😅.
There’s no street lamp pole all the way from Tamparuli (67km away from our place), and most of the resort, villa, vacation house is located away from the main road. Therefore is quite challenging for city people with self driving here, especially in the night time 🌃 .
Fun Fact: Similar in Cameron Highland, Kundasang is an agricultural areas. Therefor flies have an inextricable bond with it.
About Ahleeyado
Ahleeyado are located at the Mt. Kinabalu Golf ⛳ Course area, Mesilau.
We are 🙅🏻 NOT letting a whole house but 3️⃣ individual rooms which access at the corridor with each room have their own kitchen and bathroom 🛁. We DO NOThave extra bed 🛏️ or mattress service.
Cozy Room for 2 Pax Only
Compact Room for 2 Pax Only
Tiny Room for 4 Pax Only
Each type of room has ONLY 1 unit, therefore maximum fit to 8PEOPLES ONLY.
For the Mount ⛰️ Kinabalu view, you may see partial from your balcony or door step. The best viewing point is on the rooftop, and also the stars gazing 🌠 at night (if the weather is good).
Standard utensils is provided in the kitchen but iron and towel are upon requested. Standard utensils: knives 🔪, forks 🍴, spoons 🥄, chopsticks 🥢, bowls 🥣, plates 🍽️, etc. Anything you need but not in the kitchen. You are always welcome to borrow from us 😊 (if we have it 😄)
You may get the ingredients from KK instead at Kundasang here (limited choices) to have a steamboat on decking and barbecue in the hut.
Steamboat utensils will fully provided; but NOT charcoal, grill mesh and fire starter for barbecue.
About Rooms
We are 🙅🏻 NOT letting a whole house but 3 individual rooms, as we also living under a same roof. Each room have their own kitchen and bathroom. Maximum fit to 8 pax only (adult & child), and we DO NOT have extra bed or mattress service.
We are sorry to inform that currently we do not have a room for family of 5 pax. And since we don’t have add bed and mattress service, therefore 5 pax have to take the Tiny Room for 4 Pax and either Compact Room for 2 Pax or Cozy Room for 2 Pax. For Cozy Room is just next to Tiny Room; for Compact Room can be access from the Tiny Room's balcony.
We DO NOT have a common living room to fit 8 pax 😅 as our design is not for a big group from the very beginning 😆 8 pax can be gather at barbecue hut 😊
